Lithographic Printing Plates
Waterworks Negative Subtractive Plate
The plate plays a critical role in your printing operation. It is the master copy, which has to faithfully replicate exactly what you want, time after time. It must perform its complex magic of separating ink and water, while traveling at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour, all within a surface of less than 3 microns. Our Waterworks plates perform this magic, perfectly, every time!
Anocoil's unique graining process gives you an exceptionally clean running plate. The patented "peaks and valleys" in the grain permit the plate to both grab and shed water faster than any other subtractive plate on the market. With Waterworks plates, you get instantaneous ink and water balance on press and extremely fast start-ups which reduces your paper waste.
You'll always print cleaner and sharper with Waterworks plates. That's because Anocoil's unique coatings:
- develop easier
- expose faster
- start up faster and print cleaner on press, while
- running longer than other subtractive and additive plates.
The mainstay of our Waterworks Subtractive Plate customers are daily newspapers, including The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Rocky Mountain News, The Tampa Tribune, Newsday, The Houston Chronicle, The Hartford Courant Ft. Worth Star/Telegram and The Indianapolis Star. The superior performance of our plate extends its application within the publishing market to include book, catalogue, and commercial publishers.

830 T-Plate (Digital Positive Plate)
Anocoil has once again set a standard in the plate making industry . As the next generation in thermal plate technology, the new 830 T-Plate has been designed with the customer in mind The 830 T-Plate's single coat structure requires only a simple one-step aqueous process and delivers superb image sharpness with exceptional fidelity, from highlights to shadow detail. It can be handled in normal plate room conditions and exposed on any 830nm thermal Computer to Plate (CTP) system. No preheat is required. The plate provides fast roll-up to final color and a wide latitude for press settings. The typical press run length is over 150,000 impressions with longer runs being achieved by post-baking the plate.
Commercial sheet-fed color printers as well as heatset web publication printers currently using thermal plates will experience savings in time and money by using Anocoil's 830 T-Plate. Newspaper printers starting to implement the Computer to Plate technology can take advantage of Anocoil's long experience in manufacturing lithographic printing plates. By making the 830 T-Plate a part of their printing production, they will receive the technical expertise of Anocoil's technical sales and service staff throughout the implementation process.

Processors
You will experience a whole new world of processing with the Anocoil subtractive plate processor. There are no harsh chemicals or abrasive action to wear down the image area or the plate itself before it goes to press. Backup brushes whisk away any remaining particles, and then a cold water rinse sets and permanently bonds the coating on the image area to the grain of the plate.
With the Anocoil subtractive processor, your water savings will be dramatic. Since the water is fully filtered and recirculated, this processor will run on 15 to 30 gallons of water a day. Not only will you be using a lot less water and developer, but the water you do put down the drain will be significantly cleaner compared to additive processors and most subtractive processors.
The Anocoil processor has an external frame and panels made of strong, durable steel. High grade stainless steel is used on any part in the machine that is touched by a liquid, so you won't have to deal with scaling or rusting. In addition, most moving part are covered. At the same time, see-through Plexiglas covers on the top of the machine let you visually inspect any function while the machine is in operation.
